Oh my effing god, guys. Seriously. Is it not totally possible that this can be my favorite thing ever and for eternity?
Besides how much I resent how ridiculously expensive all the Vision Street Wear stuff is (...seriously), the collection is beautiful. Amazing. It rivals Beethoven's... whatever (you know, that one symphony that he was really famous for and that drives Alex the Droog crazy - yeah, that one). It captures everything that I want to be, and now, instead of wishing I were the girl in that Vaccines song I Wish I Was A Girl (which is great, by the way – you should listen to it), I want to be the girl in this flawless gem.

I don't think I've ever been so powerfully obsessed with one collection. The sixties and the nineties (both of which I feel are the main points of reference in this collection) are my absolute favorite decades in terms of style (and also, probably, in terms of music and film), and so obviously I think that the way the two styles are meshed together in this collection is a million times more compelling than the chemistry exam that I have to study for (honestly, it's not hard to be but that was the best that I could come up with considering the timeframe – high journalism standards abound!).
Anyway, I'm not sure about the degree of Chloe's involvement in the design process (I'm really only skeptical because celebrities-cum-designers are almost always just taking credit for what's mostly someone else's work), but regardless of how much of the collection is really attributable to her I have to say that her line for OC has come a long way since it first launched. The first collection was really, really nice (and her hair in that lookbook is incredible also), but it didn't have nearly as many interesting separates as this one does.
So, in conclusion, it's amazing and speaks to my artistic soul like no other collection ever has. On a totally unrelated note, my birthday is in October. Presents are always encouraged.
